How to Provide Website Access

WordPress Website

1Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard (typically yourwebsite.com/wp-admin)
2Go to Users → Add New
3Create a new user with the email address we provide you
4Set the role to "Administrator" for full implementation or "Editor" for limited access
5WordPress will send an email with a password setup link

Best Practice: After our work is complete, you can change the user role to "Editor" or remove the account entirely.

Wix, Squarespace, or Shopify

1Log in to your website's admin dashboard
2Navigate to Settings → Permissions/Users/Team Members (varies by platform)
3Invite a new user with the email address we provide you
4Assign appropriate permissions (Admin or Site Editor role)
5We'll receive an email invitation to access your site

Note: These platforms have limited customization options, but we can work within their constraints to optimize your site.

Google Business Profile

1Log in to your Google account that manages your Business Profile
2Go to business.google.com and select your business
3Click "Users" in the left menu
4Click the "+" button to add a new user
5Enter our email and select "Manager" or "Owner" permission

Tip: This access allows us to fully optimize your Google Business Profile, which is crucial for local SEO success.

Google Analytics & Search Console

1Log in to your Google Analytics account (analytics.google.com)
2Go to Admin → Account Access Management
3Click the "+" button and add our email address
4Assign "Editor" permissions
5Repeat similar steps for Search Console (search.google.com/search-console)

Important: This access allows us to track performance and make data-driven optimization decisions.

Best Practices for Secure Access Sharing

Security Recommendations

Never share passwords via text message or unencrypted email
Use a secure password manager like LastPass, 1Password, or Bitwarden to share credentials.
Create temporary access credentials when possible
Set an expiration date for access or plan to change passwords after work is completed.
